This light was created for you.

When we first began to come up with the concept of this amazing piece, we put ourselves in some old leather shoes. We went back in time……….

Back to a time when advances in engineering revolutionized the American way of life. We imagined ourselves in an old industrial brick warehouse on the outskirts of Cleveland, Ohio. We thought to ourselves, what are the images we would see inside an old warehouse? Pulleys. Old raised letter signs. Wire mesh. Moving swivels. Cloth-covered wire. Cast metal. There you have it. We combined these together and designed a new light that exemplifies so many things in the industrial workplace.

With the base measuring 34” long and 5-1/4” wide, the top canopy can be hung from the ceiling or attached directly against the ceiling (chain is included if hanging, but not hardware to mount directly to ceiling). It is made of cast aluminum and finished with a grunge cast finish that is loaded with surface imperfections. Can extend to 54” (see photo with measurements).

We also have a 48" option that is even bigger with three (3) lights.

The dual 7-1/2” metal shades are custom painted (with imperfections of course) to match the soft iron appearance of the entire piece. Bulbs are not included, but the UL Listed sockets are rated for up to 250W. (although we would never recommend a bulb that high--especially with the LED technology today. Takes any standard (E26) bulb. The 3” grunge pulleys are a perfect match and our pulley arms are adjustable allowing you to place the shades at different angles if desired.

As shown in photos, the distance from the top of the light to the bottom is approx 22" when mounted flush to the ceiling. That can be adjusted slightly higher or lower. This is a custom-made light and does not have a ground. No instructions are included since we do not know what style of ceiling you have. A ceiling canopy is included in which you can attach to your electrical junction box. Then you can use the chains (on each side) to hook to the ceiling canopy. You will then just need to attach the electrical wire to your current electrical wire like any other light you would purchase. Triangle-Mount: The chains on each side will be attached to the center ceiling canopy. Included is one (1) ceiling canopy, 3-ft of chain on each side. Wire can either go straight up or weaved through one of the chains.

Straight-Mount: The chain on each side will go straight up and attach to a hook. Included is one (1) ceiling canopy, two (2) ceiling hooks, 3-ft of chain on each side.

Flush-Mount: This configuration allows you to mount directly to the ceiling. No chains, hooks, or ceiling canopy included because you won't need them. We do include two (2) Heavy-Duty Snap Toggles for mounting purposes. One for each end.

Custom-Mount: Contact us with any questions. For some custom mounts such as high ceilings, cathedral ceilings, etc., there may be an additional charge for the extended length of the power cord and chain. Please contact us with details and we can try to help.

Please keep in mind this light is loaded with imperfections. We distress it, scratch it, take some paint off, etc. We do this purposely to create a character that is not found in the Chinese lights you find on the shelves. This creates a further industrial "worn" look that that can't be duplicated. If you’re looking for a “distressed-free” light, this one is not for you. :)
